Lux is the fourth studio album from GRAMMY Award-winning Spanish singer, songwriter, and producer Rosalía, and by nearly every critical measure, her most ambitious work yet. Recorded with the London Symphony Orchestra under conductor Daníel Bjarnason, the album features guest appearances by Björk, Carminho, Estrella Morente, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Yahritza y su Esencia, and Yves Tumor. Lux explores themes of feminine mystique, transformation, and spirituality, with its songs inspired by the lives of various female saints, including Hildegard of Bingen, Rabia Al-Adawiya, and Miriam, alongside Rosalía's relationship with faith and selfhood.
Structured across four movements, Lux unfolds with the scope of an orchestral work and the production instincts of a global pop visionary. It received universal acclaim from music critics and became Metacritic's best-reviewed album of 2025, scoring 95 out of 100.
