Wuthering Heights is the second soundtrack album by Charli XCX, created as the official companion to Emerald Fennell's 2026 film adaptation of Emily Brontë's gothic novel. Released on February 13, 2026, the album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and received widespread critical acclaim.
Described by Charli XCX as an "elegant and brutal sound palette," the record marks a deliberate departure from her 2024 breakthrough Brat, trading electronic pop for a fusion of distorted electronics, neoclassical textures, and gothic atmosphere. Written and recorded largely during the Brat Tour with frequent collaborator Finn Keane, the 12-track album functions as a continuous emotional landscape rather than a collection of singles. Standout tracks include lead single "House" featuring John Cale of the Velvet Underground, "Chains of Love," and "Eyes of the World" with Sky Ferreira.
